GET ON IT, cause they’re sound lads and their tunes are a bit fantastic.
One of my favourites at the moment, their tunes are belters.

The list of things to do in February never stops...
For once, or at least in as long as I can remember, there’s barely any day left blank in my diary. Add to the previous list, Jack James at the Captain’s Rest on the 26th and the SAMA launch party on Wednesday, not to mention going to see both Holy Childhood’s debut show at the Classic Grand tonight before jumping straight in to a taxi to catch Chris Devotion & the...
January 2012
Anonymous asked: how do you afford it all?
January was eventful, February even more so.
January has been an incredible, and busy, start to 2012. I gave up smoking, joined the gym, applied to uni, had some eventful nights out, brought Scottish Scribbler back from the dead (which you can find here) attended nine out of the thirteen King Tut’s New Year’s Revolution gigs, saw Frightened Rabbit at Stereo as well as RM Hubbert and friends and I finished it off perfectly with...

Subtle as a fucking brick.
The tumblr famous annoy me, fifteen year old girls flashing their breasts on the dashboards of perverts worldwide annoy me, a lot of things annoy me, but nothing on this website annoys me as much as manipulating, self-absorbed, egotistical males. You’ll probably scroll down your dashboard and find one a couple of posts below mine, possibly two or three of them, maybe even a whole heap of...
Positive thinking is positive action.
Last night was hellish to say the least. Two hours I lay awake in the dark, unable to switch my mind off from insignificant thoughts and absurd theories. Today was much better however, and much more productive.
I popped in to Forevermore to have a chat with Kyle about my next (and first Forevermore) tattoo. I showed him a few images and gave him a general idea of the style I want and he was more...

Who said lying in your bed isn't productive?
I’ve barely moved from my bed all day (except to scoff a 20 piece chicken nugget share box, double cheeseburger and chips from McDonald’s whilst lounging on the couch watching L.A. Ink) yet I’ve managed to fit in two hours of studying, watched a documentary on Chicago blues music, read about Thurisind, listened to the Les Misérables soundtrack, looked in to travelling again soon...

Last night I cried at Tangled.
Tonight I cried at Serendipity.
Tomorrow I will have fully formed breasts and a functioning female reproductive system.

Here’s how!
Go to the advanced router settings on your respective console, and find the “DNS” settings.
Usually, it’ll be set to “Automatic”, but what you want to do is manually enter them. One for primary and one for secondary.
Enter these codes for the both of them:
Primary: 208.122.23.22
Secondary: 208.122.23.23
After entering and confirming them, shut down your console and...

One of the great things about having a lot of friends doing a gap year the same time you are, is that there are plenty of floors or couches (should you be so lucky) around the world to sleep on for nothing. One of the floors I found myself on was that of my good friend Sean’s, in Montpellier. This gorgeous city is a 3.5hr train ride from Paris to the warm south. I’d...

I’m actually sitting here crying with laughter at this article. It’s not often that happens on the internet, but it’s actually painful. Oh god.

darklydreamingrob asked: After so many people recommended me that book I'm glad I read your review of it and will probably steer clear haha. These days I just can't read any bestsellers because I believe there's a reason they're the best sold, accessibilty. I mean Katie Price's autobiography is a "bestseller" haha You should review more books so I can stay clear of em (; haha

His gig tonight blew me away. I have never witnessed someone so talented performing live, and I left with a feeling that not even Bright Eyes or Death Cab gave me. Its not enough to just listen to this man’s music, so if you get the chance you should definitely try and see him. Phenomenal.
See people of tumblr, told you so.
